Only Life Can Prepare You For The Ache of Living

So lean into it!

Everything that occurs teaches and prepares you for the next stage of life. Nothing is lost-Zig Ziglar

Nothing prepares you for the ache when hurt advances into disappointment and disappointment evolves into anger.

Nothing prepares you for the ache when anger kindles a fiery desire for retaliation.

Nothing prepares you for the ache when anger is finally satiated from ravaging the soul, and it leaves in its wake the slow-burning ember of unforgiveness.

Nothing prepares you for the ache when you embrace how wounds recognized in their fullness are nothing more and nothing less.

Nothing prepares you for the ache when you understand how forgiveness and freedom walk hand in hand.

Nothing prepares you for the ache when an epiphany becomes personal reality. Such as forgiveness: forgiveness cannot be demanded or taken. Forgiveness is yours to give.

Nothing prepares you for the ache you experience when you realize you can love the person but not the system. And sometimes, you have to leave the person to leave the system.

Nothing prepares you for the ache you feel with the poignancy of forgiven freedom.

Nothing prepares you for the beautiful ache when you realize everything has purpose — you have come full circle.
